I recently had the pleasure of working with the incredible team at the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) to provide updated headshots for their entire staff. From start to finish, it was a smooth, collaborative experience—and the results speak for themselves.
We began with an initial consultation call to talk through their goals, followed by a pre-shoot call to confirm all logistics. I kept the team informed along the way with clear communication and prep tips to help everyone feel confident and camera-ready. On the day of the shoot, I set up on-site at their office to create a comfortable, efficient experience that fit seamlessly into their workday.
The energy during the shoot was warm and relaxed—many team members walked in feeling a little unsure, but walked out thrilled with their portraits. In fact, several people mentioned these were the best headshots they’d ever had! That’s always the goal—to capture each person at their absolute best, with authenticity and confidence shining through.
Each team member was able to easily review their images, choose their favorite, and receive a final, lightly retouched headshot. ACORE also requested to try out a custom background—and I was happy to accommodate! The new backdrop turned out beautifully and really elevated the final look.
