"My Husband surprised me with a 50th Birthday photoshoot. The minute I stepped into her studio, Lakesha made my day all about me. Kelsey slayed my hair and makeup, while Lakesha nailed it on the photos, wardrobe, and all around professionalism. LaKesha is a true professional. She was able to accommodate my last minute request for a shoot. Her setup was nice, complete with a personalized welcome sign, snacks and props. She also had a makeup artist available. Lakesha made the shoot fun also. I love her energy.

"I had such a great experience with 40 over 40 shoot with Lakesha Miner. She kept in communication throughout the process with updates, recommendations, and suggestions for the big day. It had been over 20 years since my last professional photo shoot, y'all remember Glamour Shots right? Well, this was NOT that! I was so pleased with the entire process. Starting with my makeup makeover. It was perfect for my style which is usually minimalist! Oh boy did she turn up, it was fabulous! I loved that the make up was light, nothing caked or heavy! It really didn't feel like I was wearing any.

Now onto the shoot; I had a casual, professional, and boudrie shoots. I told Lakesha I was no fuss and open to her vision in the shoot. She was also open to some of the poses that just happened naturally and she made them all look so amazing. I cannot wait to get the prints! Overall it was such a great experience and even though I intentionally signed up for this, I did not know how much I needed this. I have just lost 100lbs and these photos were the perfect mile maker to something that has been impacting my life for over the last 15 years. She captured the physical visualization that I had when I started my weight loss journey, what I call my fierce self! This shoot helped remind me of who I am, what it means to be a woman and be proud of my body and how I was created. This was such a great experience. Let me tell y’all what an amazing experience this was!!!! From the moment I walked in, Lakesha made me feel extremely comfortable. I wasn’t sure what items to wear to the shoot but she walked me through the entire process and helped to put together looks that made me feel both beautiful and comfortable. She also had pieces at her studio that I was able to use. The makeup artist Kelsey did a phenomenal job with my makeup. We tried a couple different shades of lipstick until we found the one that looked perfect for the shoot. During the actual shoot Lakesha offered several tips and poses to ensure that I looked my best in each shot. In the end, it was so difficult to choose my favorites pictures because there were so many!! I highly recommend Lakesha! Thank you again!!

"I entrusted Lakesha Miner Photography to capture my final weeks of pregnancy and I couldn't be happier with the results. Lakesha was very flexible when it came to scheduling and even tossing ideas for how I wanted my photo shoot to look back and forth for 2 weeks before the actual shoot. She even gave me some ideas for what to wear, what colors would look best in the photos for what I wanted, and places to buy from.

On the day of the shoot, Lakesha was meticulous and patient. As I was 9-months pregnant, it took quote a bit of effort to switch poses, but she really worked with me to make sure I was always comfortable and that I still felt beautiful & feminine. She even allowed me to take a few breaks between shooting pics when standing on my feet for more than 5-10 minutes exhuasted me. And beyond that, she took her time to make sure that she got the perfect shots of me, playing with the lighting and giving me real-time feedback. Even though these shoots are allotted for a certain amount of time, I never felt rushed or like I needed to hurry up for the next client. It says a lot that she builds in time to make each shoot a personal and carefully thought out experience in that way.

For my picture selections, Lakesha sent over many of my best shots and helped me to narrow down which ones I loved (and wanted ""prettied up a bit"") and mocked up great options for how to present them (frames, frame collages, albums, etc.) That said, I highly recommend purchasing a photo album - Lakesha is masterful at organizing and designing the pictures so that your album really tells a story.

This photo shoot was the first one I'd done in my adult years (outside of the typical mall photo places) and it's no doubt that I made an excellent choice as the quality is self-evident in the final products. She made me feel (and look) magazine editorial-worthy even at 9 months pregnant.

"My experience with Lakesha was phenomenal. I work in a high paced, data driven, super practical environment and needed to separate my personal and professional identities. I initially thought I wanted a cookie cutter type of makeover photoshoot for my birthday and shared my thoughts with Lakesha when I contacted her. She patiently listened to a vision I could barely articulate and modified it towards an outcome that was beyond amazing.

I arrived for the shoot at around 3pm and was greeted with a surprise birthday set up! Balloons, drinks (the good kind), great music and snacks. The make up artist was already on-site, and boy didn’t she glam me up within a snap of a finger. She was professional, efficient and extremely good at what she does. I highly recommend her (Morgan).

Lakeisha helped me select outfits for the shoot from her collection and literally brought my vision to life. I looked and felt beautiful, feminine and confident. The shoot itself was the highlight of my evening. She is a pro and conjured so many poses in different settings that for a second I thought I was a model LOL! She took a lot of pictures which gave me endless options when I had to select the exact number I wanted. I left out of the shoot with a clear understanding of what the next steps and timelines were. She also went over the details of each packages.

My digital pictures were available for review a few weeks later and they were gorgeous. I had a really hard time with the selection process…which is a great thing. She also shared them with me on an App which made it easy to share them with friends and family. The final prints were personally delivers to me shortly after and they left everyone that saw them speechless. I have a few hanging on my walls and the rest in a treasure box that I will hold on to for the rest of time. As if all that wasn’t enough, I also got a great thank you gift from Lakesha when all was said and done.

"OMG! I had such a wonderful time with Lakesha during my photoshoot. I was extremely nervous/anxious leading up to the shoot and the first few photos. I am learning to embrace this new body after gaining weight, losing it, and regaining some of it back....not to mention I don't think I have a sexy bone in my body.

The makeup artist did an amazing job giving me a natural look, as I don't wear much makeup outside of a neutral eyeshadow and colored lip gloss. She assured me I would look like me, but with a little pop! She asked my opinion the entire way and made me feel comfortable wearing a full face and lashes.

After getting dressed, Lakesha served as the photographer, but more importantly my friend hyping me up as we tried various poses and outfits. She made me laugh, gave clear directions on head, chin, arm, shoulder placement. That made it easier for me to relax. As the shoot went on I grew comfortable and empowered! It was a great rush!

After the session, the communication was clear and consistent. During the photo reveal I had some tears. She captured in a way I had never seen before. There were so many good shots it was hard to choose, lol.

I did a Boudoir photoshoot with Lakesha Miner Photography and the experience was nothing short of AMAZING! I was very nervous to do this type of shoot because I felt like I lacked the sex appeal and confidence to pull it off but Lakesha was so empathetic to how I felt and she assisted me every step of the way. Lakesha helped me pick my wardrobe, helped me to decide the general look I was trying to portray, and allowed me to take a peak at the pictures every few poses during the shoot.
