The Process

• Consultation: We'll schedule a quick conversation to go over what you're looking for in a family shoot, discuss your expectations, and if we're a good fit, we’ll book your session date.

• Family Photoshoot: We love to spoil our moms first with a pampering session that includes hair and makeup. I will start photographing the other members of the family and the mom will join in once her makeup is complete. I also provide great snacks and beverages.

• Ordering Appointment:  Scheduled to take place within two weeks of the photoshoot. I will present you with your jaw-dropping images. What you buy from our selection of hand-crafted, luxury products that will last a lifetime is totally up to you.

• Delivery:  Concierge service where I will deliver your products to your home (within 30 miles of Silver Spring, MD) or we'll meet at an agreed upon location.

• Your Family Photoshoot Experience Starts at $490 and Product Collections Start at $1900.

Hello! I’m Lakesha Miner and I’m the photographer, owner, and artist behind Lakesha Miner Photography. My studio is located in Silver Spring, Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C. I’m here to ease some of the stress related to family photoshoots and produce gorgeous images that will last for generations.

Family photos are an opportunity to create memories, celebrate milestones, document growth and to create heirlooms. These photographs will provide the opportunity for you to get the quality products and professional guidance that a selfie stick can not capture.
